Open Payments provides the ground-breaking market infrastructure required for successful open banking based on PSD2. With our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) developer-first solution, we offer a single open and secure API to access the diversified bank API:s throughout the EU.
Entering the Open Payments sales team at this stage of our development you will play a key role in establishing Open Payments on the Finnish market.
This is an excellent position for you with entrepreneurial drive who wants to further develop your sales career, as there will be significant future growth opportunities within the organization. You can be located at our office in central Stockholm or in Helsinki - and will work with and towards customers & partners, primarily in Finland but also support our other key markets.

What you'll do
As a Sales Development Manager you will have the responsibility to lead the whole sales process from sourcing opportunities and driving revenue across various types of verticals and clients in the Finnish market.
Some of your responsibilities
- Manage and own the end-to-end sales cycle, including identifying new business opportunities within Finland
- Establish and manage partnerships
- Work alongside our marketing team to continuously improve the lead generation process
- Providing market insights for internal forums and cross team collaboration
- Stay updated on relevant industry trends to recognize new business opportunities
- Represent Open Payments at industry events and other sales related activities
We believe you
- Speak English and Finnish fluently (other EU languages are a plus)
- Have 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with experience from payments, banking or FinTech industry
- Are great at starting conversations, networking and creating added value for clients
- Take responsibility and own your market
- Enjoy working within a fast-paced start-up environment
- Possess the ability to balance long term strategic work with operations and execution
- Are a solution-driven problem solver with a good sense of structure
- Are a self-starter who is eager to learn and grow
