Open Payments is a VC-funded FinTech startup founded in 2017. We are on a mission to disrupt the financial industry and change how consumers and businesses use and access financial services, with the aim to shape the Open Banking era. We provide the groundbreaking market infrastructure required for successful Open Banking based on PSD2. Open Payments uses an open and secure API to access the diversified bank APIs throughout the EU.

What you will do:
As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a development team responsible for building our API, which we do with modern technologies based on primarily .NET Core/C#, REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and gRPC. You will be involved in everything from working closely with our product team in designing and improving our product, to writing clean and high-quality code, all the way to testing and deployment of the product and features. The role is primarily backend development, but we do build some frontend applications with React.js.
Who are you?
We believe that you are eager and curious to take on the task to shape and implement our product in this new space. It’s a broad role, so we also see that you are both flexible and good at taking own initiatives and responsibilities.
We also see that you have 3+ years of experience with:
- Working as a backend developer or a fullstack developer
- .NET Core, C# and REST APIs
It’s a plus if you have experience with:
- Building integrations
- DevOps
- Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Grpc
- React.js or other JavaScript frameworks
- Detecting and resolving issues in software functionality (you don’t need to be a traditional tester, but someone who enjoys spotting and fixing problems)
- Agile frameworks
- The Open Banking industry
